Taste Of Lititz
The pansies are planted, and the heat has returned. It’s that time of year again, and locals are getting ready for an annual summer festival to hit the freshly paved Main Street of Lititz, PA—Taste of Lititz.
This free event will take place Friday, June 2, from 5 – 9 pm with the only cost being the small bites and beverages you will not want to miss out on. Attendees can expect the usual shenanigans: live music, art, and of course—lots of food.
Taste of Lititz has always been a cherished tradition. However, the event is only growing. With more vendors ready to showcase their love for food, this year’s Taste of Lititz will surely be an unforgettable experience.
Zest! will be ready to serve their picture-perfect paella, Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery will have their infamous soft pretzels, Slate Café will be ready to help quench any beverage fix with their iced strawberry latte and homemade limeade, and newcomers Brazilian Table will be making their first Taste of Lititz appearance, so make sure to show them some love.
Plan to arrive a bit early? No problem.
The Lititz Art Association is bringing back the Plein Air Quick Draw. You’ll have a chance to stroll through town from 10 am – 12 pm and witness some local artists sketching familiar scenes of the Lititz community. Artists that enter must paint/draw a completed piece within three hours to have the art displayed, judged, and available for purchase during Taste of Lititz.
Perhaps you’ll need a break from the block party.
In that case, stop by Lititz’s very own independent bookshop, Aaron’s Books. The staff are ready to help visitors find their next favorite book, who knows, it just might be the book that helped to start it all—Food is Love by Jennifer Oehme Knepper. There will be signed copies for sale!
