Your FIL Update - From The Author
Dear Lancaster Foodies! If you've had the chance to read through the book Food is Love Lancaster -a collection of short stories about some of Lancaster County’s most notable, tasty, and community-minded food establishments-originally published in Fall 2021, you may have noticed that some things have changed. Many of the people and organizations you had read about in the book might have changed hands, pivoted in their business model, and maybe even brought you new delivery options on where and how you can obtain their delicious wares. I wanted to personally reach out and thank you for being part of the Food is Love Family and share some exciting updates about where you can find some of our favorite food trucks, stands, catering businesses, and more! If we haven't had the chance to meet-please reach out anytime and tell me what food love means to YOU!
I wrote this collection of short stories because of the lifelong influence and childhood experiences with my grandmothers who were constantly cooking delicious foods-one from Lucca Italy and the other PA Dutch Country, as well as the countless hours I spent traipsing through our family bakery with my Father. Food is Love Lancaster started as a book and has grown to include blogs, merch, foodie events, book signings, cooking demonstrations and so many community partnerships with fellow food enthusiasts. We invite you to journey along with us and share your fondest memories as it relates to food!
