Summer Food Round-up

The sun is out, temperatures are rising, and a specific, restless, joyful feeling is in the air. That can only mean one thing… Summer is here in Lancaster County!

We’re celebrating the new season—and the stunning local cuisine that comes along with it—by sharing just a handful of our favorite summer specials and treats from a few of the amazing restaurants and cafés featured in Food is Love, Volume One.

Cafe 301

Iced coffee lovers, rejoice! Cafe 301 is offering up a deliciously decadent iced coffee flight this summer. Perfect for sampling a variety of treats when you need a caffeine boost during a hot summer day. The flight includes a hot or iced coffee, a matcha latte, a mocha, an iced macchiato, and a frozen caramel Nutella drink.

And if you’re looking for a truly unique breakfast option? We suggest Cafe 301’s new french toast cheeseburger with caramelized onions and egg. One word: yum! Find Cafe 301 on Instagram at @cafe301llc.

Silantra Asian Street Kitchen:

Wendy Jo’s Homemade

Lancaster is well-known for its local produce. Arguably one of the best ways to enjoy our abundance of fresh fruit? Wendy Jo’s pies! A true summer favorite—we wait for cherry and peach season all year long. Find Wendy Jo’s at Central Market on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and on Instagram at @wendy_jos_homemade.
